Job Description & Responsibilities

To be an integral part of the team to support with all aspects of the care role.
Provide person-centered care.
Provide support in daily living activities.
Manage and administer medication.
Understand, adhere to, and follow care standards. Policies and procedures.
Keep all records up to date with accurate information.
Provide support with personal care (Undressing, bathing, dressing, toileting, continence care).
Provide support with Nutrition and Hydration – Meal Preparation.
Engage with the service user.
Light Domestic Duties/Shopping.
Make sure that safe care practices are adhered to
Using Moving and Handling equipment.
Communicate with other colleagues and senior level staff.
Maintain Confidentiality.

Ideal Candidate

Must be hard working, reliable and honest.
Experience preferred but not essential as full training can be provided.
Must hold a valid DBS / this can also be obtained if you do not have one.
A driver is preferred and essential.
Be friendly and able to engage with others.
Must have empathy towards others.
